Distribution delivers your sound recordings to stores. Publishing administration collects royalties for your compositions—the underlying musical works. These are separate copyrights with separate income streams. Distributors don't touch publishing royalties. That's where we come in.
Register with Your Local PRO
- Join BMI, ASCAP, SESAC, or your country's PRO
- Obtain your unique IPI/CAE number (9-11 digits)
- This number identifies you as a rights holder globally
- PRO membership gives you writer's share income
Sign Up with Master Publishing
- Pay $49 one-time setup fee
- Submit your IPI number and songwriter information
- You keep 100% copyright ownership
- Flexible terms—cancel after 1 year

- Register unlimited songs for free
- Songs delivered weekly to collection societies

- Quarterly payments (4x per year vs. 2x at traditional publishers)
- Detailed transparent reports showing all earnings
- We collect mechanical, performance, sync, and print royalties
- You keep 85% of collected royalties
